When I started Yumi & Laurie, I must admit, the concept of the blanQuette™ was the driving force behind my company. I really wasn’t thinking about the environment when I thought about how I was going to bring this product to market.

In the early phases of creating the blanQuette™, I realized that the only responsible thing to do was to make this product with the environment in mind. I have asked myself many times whether companies like mine are really making a difference. Then I think; how can we not! Yes, it is a small change but how else can move this big world if we do not break it into small steps.
